Balsamic Marinated Portobello Mushroom Caps πŸ„

I LOVE a good mushroom burger, ya’ll. It’s seriously one of my faves.

Regardless if you’re a vegetarian or not, you’ll WANT to add this into your weekly mix.

One of the huge benefits of portobello mushrooms is the fact that they are super low in calories, but really dense in nutrition. This makes them an AWESOME option for someone who is trying to lose weight and cut down on empty calories. Mushrooms also are high in B vitamins and minerals which helps with your metabolism, your nervous, and your immune systems to function at their best!

Trust me…give these balsamic marinated mushrooms a try (a la carte or on your favorite bun) and you might never go back to a traditional burger!

Balsamic Marinated Portobello Mushroom Caps

Ingredients:

  • 4 portobello mushroom caps

  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar

  • 1 tbsp low sodium soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 tbsp chopped rosemary

  • 1-1/2 tsp steak seasoning like Montreal Steak Grill Mates

Directions:

1. In a large bowl, whisk together vinegar, soy sauce, oil, rosemary, and Montreal steak seasoning.

2. Place the mushroom caps in the bowl and toss with sauce, using a spoon to evenly coat.

3. Let stand at room temperature for 20 to 30 minutes, turning a few times.

4. Grill up (about 5 minutes per side) and serve on top of a bun with red onion, avocado, lettuce, and tomato!!!
