You Can’t Do It ALONE.

I’m not certain what’s taken me so long to write an article about leaning on a support system…

…oh wait…yes I do…

I always believed that I could do everything myself.

This was my M.O. This was my badge of honor.
“I’ll do it myself.”

I’m here, though, to tell you that I had to learn the VALUE and IMPORTANCE and SOUL FREEING-ness (is that a word?!) of placing my trust in others and offering my heart to a community that has my back. The woman who always believed that she could just “do it herself” learned the glorious beauty in leaning on others.

And man, oh man…I just want to wrap my arms around you and tell you that you DON’T have to do it all yourself. You DO NOT have to have all the answers. You WEREN’T made to walk this journey alone.

Something I really felt I could “do myself” was take ownership of, and conquer, my fitness journey.

While owning your health is something that only YOU can do, you do not have to conquer the journey alone. Having a community of women who hold me accountable, yet pour into me with the kindness and grace I often don’t use on myself has been a game changer in my journey. It’s what has made it go from a fad to something of a lifestyle…basically as mindless as brushing my teeth, ya’ll. That’s huge!

How would you feel if you had that kind of support? If you were able to make your resolutions, goals, and heart cries a distant memory because you simply LIVED the life you wanted?

You can’t do this alone, sister. And here’s what a coach {like me😉} can do for YOU in this journey:

  • Focus on your whole being: It’s not just about numbers on a scale. It’s about the WHOLE SELF. Mind. Body. Spirit. If you are working hard on your physical health, but not on your emotional health, there will always be an imbalance. Coaches can help you see the whole picture and guide you to work on the places you tend to neglect in order to develop a better YOU.

  • Establish a connection: One of the most important things a Beachbody coach does is KNOW and LOVE their clients. This journey is vulnerable and cannot be tone without TRUST. And we only trust those who we know and love. Connection is KEY and creates a foundation in which you can SOAR.

  • Set SMART Goals: Most people fail before they even begin because they haven’t set CLEAR goals that they can track and measure. A coach can help with this and will work with you to establish SMART (specific, measurable, attainable, relevant and time-bound) goals. It’s about taking vague wants and wishes and transforming them into reality.

  • Retrain the way you think: The things we tell ourselves can MAKE US or BREAK US. Coaches know this. By becoming aware of situations where negative self-talk occurs, including times when you may say to yourself, “I hate doing this exercise,” health coaches help you shift to a more accurate and positive way of thinking, like, “This exercise is challenging, but I know I can do it!”

    Day 1 versus Day 21
  • Overcome obstacles: There are SO MANY factors that often serve as obstacles to people trying to lose weight or improve their overall health. Add in other things like low self-esteem, being intimidated by a new workout regime, or even feeling like a failure before you even begin, a coach will work with you to diffuse anxieties and identify misconceptions that may be standing in the way of you reaching your goals. Obstacles are inevitable. Life happens. But…with the right systems in place, a coach will arm you with the skills you need to cope with any and all barriers + provide you with strategies to help you get back on track following temporary slip ups.

  • Become self-reliant: The ultimate goal of a Beachbody coach is to help you to become self-reliant to increase your motivation to adopt healthy habits. From helping you create or maintain an environment that fosters success to finding and implementing a support system, a coach is committed to arming you with the tools you need to succeed in reaching your goals.

  • Make it a lifestyle: Beachbody coaches enable individuals to see the value in reaching their health-related goals and building a true connection between exercise and activities of daily living. A coach will empower you to take ownership of your experience and create positive, lasting lifestyle changes that enhance what you do in the gym and in everyday life.

And I already can hear what you’re saying. Britt, I don’t have the money for a health coach.

BONUS…what I do is a complimentary and FREE service for those who say YES to having me as their coach. All you have to do is commit to a Challenge Pack and then you get ME on your side, helping you to conquer what you’ve never been able to conquer on your own.

And you know why?
