Can it get any better than a BRAND NEW month landing on a MONDAY?! It’s like the perfect storm of “fresh starts,” right?!?!
Goal setting is one of my ultimate favorite things to do when a new month begins. It is a time for me to reevaluate what I’ve been doing and plan ahead for where I want to go.
Seriously though, do you set goals, or am I alone on this one?!
Most of the population doesn’t.
Those who do, tend to only think them up in their head.
And a shocking 3% of people ACTUALLY put pen to paper.
But I would be wrong if I said I rely on my own hard work to achieve goals.
Truthfully, I can’t do it in my own power. None of us can.
There has to be an act of faith involved.
I have to connect with Jesus…share my ideas and visions with God…and pray through the ups, downs, and in betweens of the journey.
This combination of putting pen to paper, having faith in a God who moves mountains, and then aligning my actions with my goals is beyond powerful.
And the secret sauce…accountability! Sharing your goals with those around you that can encourage, push, and motivate you to SHINE is such a game changer in your goal crushing journey. And because I always like to lead from the front…especially when it comes to scary, vulnerable things, I’m sharing with you my MAY GOALS.
Brittany’s MAY 2017 Goals-
Personal Development/Growth- Read “Be That Girl,” “Pretty Happy,” + “Failing Forward”
Relationships- Weekly hand written cards to those who matter most
Finances- Have my HIGHEST earning month yet in 2017
Health + Fitness- Complete my first HYBRID program with CDF, PiYo, and 21 DF (document every workout on FB LIVE this month)
FUN- GET OUTSIDE DAILY
Home- Pick scripture and design for new artwork over the bed.
Business- Earn SUCCESS CLUB VIP PARTY ticket for COACH SUMMIT, Rank Advance to 1 STAR DIAMOND by June 30th.
Spiritual- “SEAMLESS” Bible Study with the ladies in my lifegroup.
Accountability is HUGE. And don’t get it twisted. I was nervous as I typed these goals for ya’ll to see. But here’s what I’ve learned throughout my journey…nothing amazing EVER comes out of our comfort zone. We have to get comfortable with being uncomfortable. I hope this inspires you to start setting some goals for May and putting pen to paper…BE THE 3%!!!
