Β Can I be honest and say that I’m equal parts excited and scared to do this challenge with ya’ll next week?!
OK…I’m lying.

More like 90% freaking out and 10% fist pumping excited.

And that’s NORMAL.

Resetting your body from sugar is NO JOKE, ya’ll. Our bodies are addicted to it and unfortunately we consume WAY too much of the stuff.

But it starts with food.
The more you feed your body crap, the more it wants it.

The only way to stop it is to starve it of the crap.😳😳😳

I know from experience that this is NOT easy.
Like, coming off of drugs and alcohol not easy.
Yeah. Your body acts that way towards sugar withdrawals.
Scary, right?

But we got this!

Tips, tricks, and advice

Alright, so let’s get to the GOOD stuff, shall we?!?!

Meal Planning.

Your PREPARATION for this week will be the ULTIMATE key to your success. Before we dive into our meal planning, let’s check out some foods that we CAN and CANNOT eat, as well as some foods we can limit intake of. It will be important to check labels if you are buying canned products to ensure they do not contain any added sugar!!!

I love this image below because it makes it REALLY clear what you should be reaching for next Mon-Fri as you reset your body.

Notice that it says “NO” to fruit. I do not agree for this week. Just try to be smart about the amount of fruits you snack on. Apples and Bananas (as it says) are the best options! Make it a point to snack MORE on veggies, but if you have a sweet tooth, go for the fruit!

Alright, so let’s get to PLANNING, shall we?!?!

Breakfast Ideas-

2 Scrambled Eggs, 1/4 avocado, 1/2 tomato

Veggie {whatever you like} + egg scramble

Hard or Soft Boiled Egg + 1/2 apple

WAKE ME UP! Smoothie

Lunch Ideas-

Greek Veggie Hummus Wrap (minus the tortilla!!!) You can use a lettuce wrap or make it like a GIANT Greek Salad, too!

{get in my belly} Cobb Salad

Dinner Ideas-

Roasted Spaghetti Squash with Turkey Meat Sauce {sub mushrooms in sauce to make it veggie}

Fish {or chicken/veggie} Tostadas

FYI- You cannot use the tortilla for this recipe. THINK: TACO SALAD!!!

Crock Pot Chicken Tortilla Soup {can be made without the meat}

So fresh and SO easy!!!

I can’t wait to dive into this reset on Monday. Make sure to take the weekend to PLAN out your meals and share with the group what’s on the menu! This should be MORE than enough food for the week, so figure out if you’ll have leftovers, etc!!!
