Cookie Dough Protein Balls

I wish I could sit down tonight and share the last month of my life with you, but there’s no time for that. I simply just want to be back…to be present with you during the holidays…to share with you from my heart, once again. I’ve been gone from the blog for far too long and I promise, my dear followers, the lessons I’ve learned will come to life through my text.

Excited to end this year out strong. Excited to have you along with me on this journey.
Excited to end this year out strong. Excited to have you along with me on this journey.

But for tonight, I just have to blog. I just have to get back into your home and share with you health, happiness, and all those yummy recipes you’ve been dying to try. And tonight’s recipe? Well, it isn’t going to disappoint.

During the holidays, it is easy to fall into the sweet tooth traps that are surrounding us. Candy canes, sugar cookies, fudge, pie, you name it…it’s here. I figured we needed a sweet treat that we could feel good about. You feel me? Good.

This recipe is SUPER easy…super FAST. And it is made of five healthy ingredients. Give it a try…keep em’ on hand for those sweet tooth attacks…or even take them to your holiday party or cookie swap.

Cookie Dough Protein Balls

  • 2 scoops Vanilla Protein Powder (I use Shakeology)

  • 1 cup Almond Meal/Flour

  • 1/2 cup Peanut Butter (or almond butter)

  • 1/4 cup Maple Syrup

  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips

  1. Combine protein powder and almond meal in a large bowl.

  2. Add peanut butter, maple syrup, and chocolate chips. Mix with a fork until it forms a “dough-like” texture. Then I use my hands to finish off the mixing.

  3. Make palm size balls. Roll in your hands until round and smooth.

  4. Place into the refrigerator for 1 hour until they have hardened and set. But honestly, you should probably sneak one just to make sure it isn’t poisonous. čÖé
